Hope Springs Eternal

Ah, Opening Day. When every team is a contender, the future bright, everyone on an equal footing, and spring is in the air. Being a Cubs fan is no easy thing. Our brothers in suffering, the Red Sox, finally one the big one last year. The Cubs haven't been champs since 1908....this year we are due (just like every other year...)!

We have the players, manager and front office to make it happen. Wood, Prior, Zambrano and Madux make up the starting four, Ramierz and Nomar and DL and Paterson and Barret round out the line-up. So here's to opening day and the Cubs!
